From Bancroft -Take Hwy. #62 south to Mill Road, turn west (right). Proceed to 638 Mill Road (north side).
From Peterborough -Take Hwy. #7 east to Jarvis Road, turn north (left), turn east(right) on Mill Road. Proceed to 638 Mill Road (north side).
From Ottawa -Take Hwy. #7 west to O'Hara Road (west of Hwy. #62), turn north (right), turn west on Mill Road. Proceed to 638 Mill Road. (north side).

Hours of Operation
Grounds & Trails: Open dawn to dusk 365 days of the year.
Buildings : Open 10am to 4 pm weekends and holidays from Victoria Day to Thanksgiving day and daily from July 2 to Sept 3 (closed normal Mondays and Tuesdays).

Visiting O'Hara Mill Homestead and Conservation Area
Washroom Facilities: Modern, accessible washrooms are available in the Visitor Centre during open hours above. On Mondays and during the closed season Ladies and Gents outdoor toilets are situated just below the Log House. There is also a portable toilet (seasonal) in the main parking lot where the trail to the homestead starts.

OHara Mill Homestead and Conservation Area: We are a conservation area and as such our visitors need to be aware of the risks they are accepting as part of being here. There are things like stinging insects, uneven ground, areas of deep water. All things that are part of being in the outdoors. Be aware and enjoy. Educate yourselves by taking advantage of all the information available from many government and agency sources. (examples include: Ministry of Natural Resources, Quinte Conservation, Local Health Departments)
