The strength of our organization is based on having a strong group of members. Anyone can be a volunteer! You can get involved by volunteering time, tools or materials. You can be a volunteer by offering advice and/or ideas for improvements at the O’Hara Mill Homestead site or by just attending our events throughout the summer.
You may ask, "What’s in it for me?" Well, for $5.00 you will receive 2 newsletters a year (spring/fall) have on open invitation to all of our activities at the mill, and you will gain a sense of pride knowing that your donation of $5.00 will be helping to promote The O’Hara Mill Homestead, of which the O'Hara Saw Mill is a focal point; a jewel in Hastings County!
Memberships are available:
- at the Homestead during operating hours,
- by e-mailing Membership,
- by completing a membership form (download PDF or MS Word ) and mailing it, along with $5.00 per membershp, to the address below, or,
- by contacting Dennis Linton at 613-473-1015 between 9:00 am and 9:00 pm.

The 2010 membership fee is $5.00 per person.
Individuals purchasing a membership and providing an e-mail address are automatically subscribed to the O'Hara Volunteers Association mailing list and receive newsletters and other information related to Association activities. Our mailing list will not accept multiple subscriptions under one e-mail address. Hence, if you share an e-mail address, only one message will be delivered to that e-mail address rather than delivering one for each member.
