From Our House to Yours
The house received a much needed facelift. The utmost care was taken in selecting heritage paint colours and wallpaper. The house looks spectacular. We received many compliments on the upgrades.

We had a very exciting year at O’Hara House, including the wedding of Brad and Nicola Toomath on August 9th. Our best wishes go to the happy couple.

Our 2008 student interns, Alex MacPherson and Erin Pamsperger certainly made life easier for everyone, especially the volunteer tour guides. When not conducting tours, the student’s primary task was the completion of a full inventory and updating of the accession cards for the house, blacksmith shop and the carriage house.

The luster was brought back to many of the wooden tools and barrels by applying linseed oil.
