Treatise on Hydraulics was originally published in 1889.  Chap. 13  Water Wheels of the 10^th ed., presented here, was probably part of the 1^st ed.  It may be representative of the level of engineering basis of design that was available in 1850 when the O’Hara Saw Mill was built.  The book is part of the webmaster’s personal library.
