A log house has been moved to, and erected on, the site of the original O’Hara residence. A stone cooking fireplace has been constructed complete with authentic cast iron kettle cranes and other accoutrements. Cooking demonstrations utilizing the fireplace occur from time to time.
The Log House is located in a remarkably peaceful setting. If you have a chance to sit on the front porch and look out over the grounds, you are likely to find yourself a bit disinclined to leave.
